FOREWORD

At the request of NES Optometry, the Community Eye Care website has been updated by John Olson, Consultant Ophthalmic Physician and Clinical Lead, NES Technology Service, and Stephen McPherson, Independent Optometrist and Optometric Advisor to NHS Grampian's Eye Health Network.

The Community Eye Care website and App were launched on 27th September 2017 achieving peak usage at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 Since then it has continued to be widely used, particularly in Scotland and England, but also world wide.
