• Squamous cell carcinoma
• Chalazion
• Keratoacanthoma
• Actinic keratosis
• Molluscum contagiosum
• Papilloma
• Anterior marginal blepharitis

• Photograph lesion

Advice

• Advise patient of possible diagnosis
• Reassure that, although the lesion can be locally problematic, there is little risk of metastasis
• Advise on sun protection measures

Management Category

• Refer with image and details of location, size and history (to aid assessment of urgency)

Possible management by Ophthalmologist

• Surgical excision +/- reconstruction
