• Sinusitis
• Sebaceous cyst
• Preseptal cellulitis
• Tumour
• Granulomatous lesion

Treatment

• Do not syringe or probe
• Hot compresses and local massage

Advice

• May recur or be persistent

Management Category

• Alleviation/palliation (normally no referral)
• If symptoms recurrent and persistent, refer routinely

Possible management by Ophthalmologist

• Dacryocystorhinostomy
