Treatment
- Topical lubricants for symptomatic relief
- If the lashes present on the lesion and cause discomfort consider referral to Ophthalmology department for electrolysis
Advice
- Surgical treatment is generally avoided due to possibility of complications such as scarring, ptosis, sight threatening dry eye, and ocular motility problems
Management Category
- Routine referral to ophthalmology if electrolysis required or diagnosis is in doubt

- Electrolysis of the lashes
