Treatment
- Topical lubricants for symptomatic relief
- Refer to ophthalmology if lesion interferes with lid closure, enriches on cornea, or abnormal features are present
Advice
- Explain the diagnosis and reassure the patient
- Small lesions may resolve spontaneously
Management Category
- Refer to ophthalmology is abnormal features are present
Possible management by Ophthalmologist
- Excision of the lesion
- Cryotherapy to the base of the lesion and the surrounding area
