• Retinal detachment
• Retinal tear

Treatment

• None
• If concerned then visual fields may be helpful
  • If schisis incurs into central visual field, then field loss is absolute
  • If detachment incurs into the central visual field, then field loss is relative

Advice

• Advise of the difference from retinal detachment and how to recognise

Management Category

• Observation
• Refer to Ophthalmology if any of the following present:
  • Retinal detachment
  • Pigment line
  • Tears in inner and outer leaflets
