- Haemorrhagic posterior vitreous detachment

Treatment
- None
Advice
- Advise the majority of vitreous haemorrhages, in this setting, are secondary to vitreous detachment and will spontaneously resolve
- Advise of risk of retinal detachment and how to recognise
Management Category
- Discuss with ophthalmology whether urgent assessment required, if previous pan-retinal laser thought to be incomplete
- Routine referral to ophthalmology diabetes clinic

- Observation
- Ultrasound
- Vitrectomy
